Which system is best for you?

pc suggestions please

Postby Old Man » Sat Dec 27, 2008 2:36 am

I am asking for advice on which system here would be best for gaming, but keeping the price low as possible. This is a gift for my son, so I expect him to upgrade the pc himself in the future, but for now I would like a system that will play most games (Oblivion, Supreme Comm, etc) pretty well. Price is somewhat on the low side of £300-£500.

Went for Intel becuase they have better processing power vs AMD at the moment.
Extra PSU wattage for future upgrades.
4gb RAM is not a definative requirement, but should seriously be considered.
Graphics as it offers strong performance for your budget.
Extra hard drive space as most current games are massive.

This has configurable options for all parts here: http://www.ginger6.co.uk/intel-gaming-c ... 31374.html

Do you have an operating system, keyboard, mouse etc??

I hope this helps you out, but if you have anymore questions, please give us a shout :D

For your budget the system above is a very good choice.

You will need to take into account that there will be approx £12-£15 postage on top for shipping, and you will need to take into account whether you will need Windows pre-installed on the machine, or do you hve your own copy you can install.
