Intel i9 14900K - RTX 5080 Golf Sim Gaming PC - G6 Ace
Description
G6 Ace: The Flagship Tour-Grade Sim Machine
The G6 Ace is Ginger6’s flagship golf simulator PC, built around the Intel Core i9-14900KF and NVIDIA RTX 5080 16GB. This is the machine for the multi-bay commercial fitting studio, the tour-pro home sim room, or the golfer who also content-creates at 4K and refuses to compromise on either workload.
The i9-14900KF delivers 24 cores (8 Performance + 16 Efficiency) and 6.0 GHz P-core Turbo, the fastest single-thread performance Intel makes at this generation. Paired with the RTX 5080’s 16GB GDDR7 VRAM and 32GB of dual-channel DDR5 on a Z790 D AX board, the Ace sits at the top of our golf simulator PC range, our wider RTX 5080 gaming PCs, and the broader Ginger6 gaming PC catalogue. Every Ace is hand-assembled and 24-hour stress-tested in our Wolverhampton workshop before despatch.

What’s Inside the G6 Ace
The base specification is shown below. Every component is configurable. Use the options above to upgrade the processor, GPU, storage, memory, case, and more.
Built Specifically for Flagship Golf Sim Performance
The Ace is the machine for the buyer who wants headroom off the table entirely. Multi-bay commercial studios, content-creator sim rooms, tour-pro home setups. Here is what separates it from anything that costs less.
Uncompromised 4K + Headroom
The RTX 5080’s 16GB GDDR7 VRAM and i9-14900KF’s 6.0GHz single-thread Turbo together deliver flagship 4K golf sim performance with comfortable margin. GSPro, E6 Connect, Trackman, and Foresight FSX Pro all hold well above 100 fps at 4K Ultra with DLSS 4 enabled. For multi-bay or content-creator setups, this is the GPU that doesn’t need an upgrade for years.
Commercial Multi-Bay Studio
The 24-core i9 means a single Ace can drive the primary projector at 4K while simultaneously running OBS at 1080p recording, the launch monitor companion app, and the studio booking/CRM software all on different threads. For commercial fitting studios consolidating multiple workstations into one, this is the consolidation tier.
Content Creation Alongside Sim
For the golfer who also creates content (YouTube swing-analysis videos, instructional clips, course reviews), the Ace is the machine that does both. The i9’s 8 Performance + 16 Efficiency cores handle DaVinci Resolve 4K editing, Premiere Pro, OBS recording, and Foresight FSX Pro fitting sessions in parallel. The RTX 5080 accelerates the editing timeline.
Tour-Grade Launch Monitor Headroom
For Foresight GCQuad with 4-camera capture, Uneekor EYE XO with full LiDAR, or Trackman 4 with full dual-radar capture, the Ace’s 24-core i9 ingests the data stream with no thread contention even during simultaneous OBS recording. This is the tier that doesn’t throttle under combined sim + capture + record workload.
850W Gold PSU and Z790 Platform
The up-tier 850W 80+ Gold PSU (vs. Bronze on Par/Eagle) and Z790 D AX motherboard give the Ace the platform tier the i9 and RTX 5080 deserve. 4 M.2 NVMe slots, 4 DDR5 DIMM slots up to 128GB, comprehensive USB layout, and rear connectivity that handles every launch monitor and capture device combination in current production.
Hand-Built, 24h Stress Tested
Like every Ginger6 build, the Ace is hand-assembled in Wolverhampton and run for 24 hours under sustained combined CPU and GPU load before it ships. For the flagship tier, we run the test at 100% on both for the full duration. Anything that fails is replaced and retested. No exceptions.
Why Each Component Was Chosen
Every part in the Ace was selected for flagship golf sim, commercial studio, and combined content-creation workloads. Here is what each component does and why it matters at the top tier.
Intel Core i9-14900KF: Processor
NVIDIA RTX 5080 16GB: Graphics Card
2 × 1TB NVMe M.2 SSD: Dual Storage
32GB Kingston Fury DDR5 5200MHz: Memory
Gigabyte Z790 D AX: Motherboard
360mm AIO Liquid Cooler: Processor Cooling
850W G6 80+ Gold PSU: Power Supply
Connectivity: Ports & Networking
Hand-built in Wolverhampton. Every cable managed, every component seated correctly
What It’s Like to Play on the G6 Ace
The Ace is tested with every major golf simulator platform on the UK market. Here’s what you can expect from each one.
E6 Connect at 4K Ultra detail runs comfortably on the Ace with 80+ fps frametimes and full course detail. For multi-bay studios running E6 on the primary projector with OBS capture overlay, the i9’s 24-core design means the simulator and capture stack never contend. Course replay loads instantly across the entire E6 course library.
GSPro is the most demanding consumer sim and the Ace runs it at 4K Ultra with DLSS 4 enabled at well above 100 fps. For commercial fitting bays running GSPro Career mode with course rotation, the dual NVMe configuration keeps course library streaming under 1.5 seconds per transition. The flagship VRAM means no texture pop-in even on the heaviest course packs.
Trackman’s Simulator runs on the Ace’s i9-14900KF with full course library installed locally and the multi-camera data stream ingested without thread contention. For Trackman 4 in a tour-pro home or commercial fitting bay, the Ace runs the simulator, the Trackman Performance Studio software, and OBS recording simultaneously on separate cores.
Foresight GCQuad with 4-camera capture and FSX Pro at 4K Ultra projection is the Ace’s natural workload. The 14900KF’s single-thread speed handles GCQuad data ingestion; the RTX 5080 handles FSX Pro rendering. For Foresight commercial fitting studios, this is the consolidation tier that replaces separate sim and capture workstations.

What Our Customers Say
Nothing was too much trouble and it was evident that they were not trying to sell me anything I didn’t really need. The PC was delivered promptly and is perfect for what I required.
10 out of 10 for Ginger6. I needed to upgrade my PC to handle the 4K ultra graphics in my MS flight sim. After a chat with Kevin and a few suggestions from him, I agreed on a very competitive price and a week later my new computer was ready for collection. I’ve had my computer from Ginger6 for just over a year now and it has coped with everything I could throw at it with ease. Great product, great price, great company.
I’m gonna keep this short and sweet. Ginger6 are fantastic at what they do and I highly recommend them. Thanks for my pc it’s perfect.
Launch Monitor, Projector, and Room Build
The Ace drives a flagship sim room. Here is what to plan for the rest of the setup at the top tier.
Launch Monitor: Tour-Grade Multi-Capture
The Ace handles Foresight GCQuad with 4-camera capture, Uneekor EYE XO with LiDAR, and Trackman 4 with dual-radar simultaneously if the studio runs multiple bays. The Z790 D AX rear USB 3.2 layout plus 1GbE LAN handles wired tour-grade monitors; the Wi-Fi 6 AX handles wireless companion apps. No bandwidth concerns at this tier.
Launch Monitor: Consumer & Prosumer
Equally compatible with SkyTrak+, FlightScope Mevo+, Bushnell Launch Pro, Foresight GC3, and the rest of the consumer and prosumer category. The Ace is overkill for these monitors, which is the point: future-proofs the workstation through any future launch monitor upgrade you make.
Projector: 4K + Commercial Brightness
The RTX 5080 drives commercial-bright 4K projectors at 60-144Hz over HDMI 2.1: BenQ X3100i, Optoma UHZ50, ViewSonic LS961WU, Epson LS800, Panasonic PT-MZ16K. For multi-bay studios running 4-5K-lumen ultra-short-throw projectors, the Ace has the GPU output capability to drive multiple commercial projectors via splitter.
Hitting Mat & Impact Screen: Commercial
Commercial-grade hitting mats (Fiberbuilt Performance, TrueStrike Custom, SwingTurf Pro) and commercial impact screens (Carl’s Place 4K Pro, Allsportsystems Custom, Par2Pro). Plan for 4m+ wide screen for double-bay or content-creation setups. The Ace drives both 16:9 and 16:10 plus 21:9 ultrawide at full 4K detail.
Sim Room: Studio & Multi-Bay
For a commercial fitting studio: 5m+ wide per bay, 3.5m+ ceiling, 6m+ deep. The Ace lives in a kit rack or wall-mounted bracket in the operator’s area, driving the primary projector plus operator monitors. For content-creator home sim rooms: 4m wide, 3m ceiling, 5m deep accommodates a single bay plus a camera position for instructional video work.
Operator & Capture
For commercial fitting: a 32″ 4K operator monitor plus a secondary tablet display for the launch monitor companion app. The RTX 5080 has the outputs for both plus the projector plus a third monitor for OBS capture preview. For content-creators: a 27″ 4K colour-accurate monitor for editing alongside sim use. Audio: a 2.1 system with subwoofer behind the impact screen for ball-strike realism; consider studio-grade monitors for accurate playback when content-creating.
The Support Doesn’t Stop at Delivery
Every G6 Ace comes with a 3-year warranty covering parts and labour, lifetime free UK phone support, and a 30-day return-to-base policy. The same phone number reaches the person who built your PC for the life of the machine.
For golf sim customers, Kevin is happy to help after delivery with graphics settings, course library installation, launch monitor calibration, and performance tuning for your specific sim software, projector, and room setup. That kind of support is not something you get from a large retailer.
