Intel Core Ultra 5 245Kf - RTX 5070 Golf Sim Gaming PC - G6 Birdie
Description
G6 Birdie: The Modern-Platform 1440p Sim Machine
The G6 Birdie is the modern-platform tier of Ginger6’s golf simulator PC range, built around the Intel Core Ultra 5 245KF and NVIDIA RTX 5070 12GB. Where the Par and Ace sit on the older LGA1700 platform, the Birdie and Eagle both sit on Intel’s Arrow Lake architecture on LGA1851. The Birdie is the 1440p-focused entry to the Arrow Lake golf sim tier, pairing the Core Ultra 5 245KF with the RTX 5070 12GB at a step below the Eagle’s Core Ultra 7 265KF and RTX 5070 Ti 16GB. This is the golf sim PC for buyers who want next-generation platform features at a 1440p projector price point.
The Core Ultra 5 245KF delivers 14 cores (6 Performance + 8 Efficiency) and 5.20 GHz P-core Turbo on the LGA1851 socket. Paired with the RTX 5070’s 12GB GDDR7 VRAM, 32GB of dual-channel DDR5, and 2TB of NVMe storage, the Birdie runs E6 Connect, GSPro, Trackman, and Foresight FSX Pro at 1440p with comfortable headroom and at 4K with sensible DLSS 4 quality settings. It sits between the Par and Eagle in our golf simulator PC range, our wider RTX 5070 gaming PCs, and the broader Ginger6 gaming PC catalogue. Every Birdie is hand-assembled and 24-hour stress-tested in our Wolverhampton workshop before despatch.

What’s Inside the G6 Birdie
The base specification is shown below. Every component is configurable. Use the options above to upgrade the processor, GPU, storage, memory, case, and more.
Built Specifically for Modern-Platform Golf Sim
The Birdie brings Intel Arrow Lake into the Ginger6 golf sim range. Same hand-build, same 24-hour stress test, same Wolverhampton workshop, modern platform headroom. Here is what separates it from the LGA1700 Par tier and from anything assembled by a high-street retailer.
Arrow Lake LGA1851 Platform
The Core Ultra 5 245KF is built on Intel’s Arrow Lake architecture for LGA1851. New tile-based design, dedicated NPU for on-PC AI workloads, improved Efficiency cores, and a clear upgrade path to Core Ultra 7 and Core Ultra 9 on the same socket. For golf sim buyers who plan to keep the PC for five years plus, the Birdie’s platform is the longer-life choice.
RTX 5070 12GB at 1440p
The RTX 5070’s 12GB GDDR7 VRAM is the right amount for 1440p projector sim rooms. E6 Connect, GSPro, and Foresight FSX Pro all hold 60+ fps at 1440p Ultra; with DLSS 4 enabled the Birdie also drives 4K projection at sensible quality settings. The middle ground between the Par (1080p/1440p focus) and the Eagle (4K focus).
Wi-Fi 6E + Bluetooth
The B860 DS3H WIFI6E adds Wi-Fi 6E (not just Wi-Fi 6 like the Par) and Bluetooth out of the box. For sim rooms with a wireless launch monitor, wireless headphones, and a tablet running the launch monitor companion app on the same Wi-Fi 6E network, this is the connectivity layer the Birdie ships with by default.
14-Core Multitasking
Six Performance cores plus eight Efficiency cores means the simulator runs on dedicated P-cores while the launch monitor companion app, course-library streaming, and OBS recording sit on E-cores. The Par’s 6-core i5 can’t deliver this kind of isolation; the Birdie can, at a price between the Par and the Eagle.
32GB DDR5 + 2TB NVMe
Up-tier from the Par’s 16GB / 2x1TB: 32GB of dual-channel DDR5 5200MHz handles concurrent simulator + companion app + OBS recording without memory pressure. The 2TB NVMe holds full GSPro Career, Foresight FSX Pro Pro library, and multi-launch-monitor companion apps on a single fast drive.
Hand-Built, 24h Stress Tested
Like every Ginger6 build, the Birdie is hand-assembled in Wolverhampton and run for 24 hours under sustained CPU and GPU load before it ships. Arrow Lake is a new platform; the 24-hour stress catches the platform-specific gotchas before the machine reaches you.

What It’s Like to Play on the G6 Birdie
The Birdie is tested with every major golf simulator platform on the UK market. Here’s what you can expect from each one.
E6 Connect runs cleanly on the Birdie at 1440p projector resolutions with full course detail and 60+ fps frametimes. DLSS 4 enables 4K projection at sensible quality settings. The dual-radio Wi-Fi 6E handles wireless SkyTrak, FlightScope Mevo+, or Bushnell Launch Pro without bandwidth issue.
GSPro at 1440p Ultra detail holds 60+ fps on the RTX 5070 12GB. Course library streaming is fast on the 2TB NVMe drive. With DLSS 4 enabled, the Birdie pushes GSPro to 4K projection at quality settings golf-sim buyers actually use. The middle ground between Par-tier 1080p/1440p comfort and Eagle-tier 4K Ultra headroom.
Trackman’s Simulator software runs on the Birdie’s Core Ultra 5 with full course library installed locally. Arrow Lake’s improved Performance-core single-thread speed handles ball-strike physics and Trackman’s data ingestion in parallel. Pairs cleanly with the Trackman iO or Trackman 4 over wired 1GbE LAN.
Foresight FSX Pro at 1440p projection on the Birdie is comfortable; with DLSS 4 enabled at 4K projection it is the entry-level 4K Foresight studio workstation. For Foresight GC3 owners stepping into commercial fitting, the Birdie is the right spend point. GCQuad fitters wanting full 4-camera capture should step to the Eagle or Ace.

Launch Monitor, Projector, and Room Build
The Birdie is a 1440p projection ready, Arrow Lake platform sim workstation. Here is what to plan for in the rest of the sim room.
Launch Monitor: Consumer & Prosumer
The Birdie is compatible with SkyTrak, SkyTrak+, FlightScope Mevo+, Bushnell Launch Pro, Foresight GC3, and Garmin Approach R10. The B860 DS3H WIFI6E’s Wi-Fi 6E module handles wireless monitors cleanly; the rear USB 3.2 ports handle wired ones. No bandwidth limit for any consumer or prosumer launch monitor.
Launch Monitor: Tour-Grade Entry
For Uneekor EYE XO and Foresight GCQuad, the Birdie’s Core Ultra 5 + 32GB DDR5 + 2TB NVMe configuration is the entry workstation. These monitors output more data per swing than consumer units; the 14-core Ultra 5 handles the data ingestion in parallel with sim rendering. For Trackman 4 owners stepping into fitting, the Birdie covers the load.
Projector: 1440p & DLSS-4 4K
The RTX 5070 outputs are 3× DisplayPort 2.1 and 1× HDMI 2.1. 1440p projectors at 60-144Hz run cleanly over HDMI 2.1 native. 4K projectors at 60Hz work with DLSS 4 enabled for the rendering load. Compatible projectors at this tier: BenQ TK700STi, Optoma GT2160HDR, ViewSonic LS832WU, Epson EH-LS800.
Hitting Mat & Impact Screen
A good hitting mat (Fiberbuilt, TrueStrike, or SwingTurf) and an impact screen (Carl’s Place, Allsportsystems, SimScreens) make the sim room. Plan for a minimum 2.5m projection distance and a 3m wide screen for a single-bay setup. The Birdie drives both 16:9 and 16:10 native plus 21:9 ultrawide projection.
Sim Room Layout
Minimum dimensions for a comfortable golf sim room: 3.0m wide, 2.7m ceiling, 4.5m deep. The Birdie sits at the desk or in a kit cabinet. 240mm AIO is quiet at sim-room desk distance. Cable runs from PC to projector are best routed in trunking along the ceiling.
Monitor & Audio
For the operator desk, a single 1440p or 4K monitor on DisplayPort. The RTX 5070 drives both the projector and the desk monitor simultaneously without performance compromise. Audio: a 2.1 system with subwoofer behind the impact screen sells the ball-strike realism on a 1440p sim setup; consider studio monitors if you also content-create alongside sim use.
The Support Doesn’t Stop at Delivery
Every G6 Birdie comes with a 3-year warranty covering parts and labour, lifetime free UK phone support, and a 30-day return-to-base policy. The same phone number reaches the person who built your PC for the life of the machine.
For golf sim customers, Kevin is happy to help after delivery with graphics settings, course library installation, launch monitor calibration, and performance tuning for your specific sim software, projector, and room setup. That kind of support is not something you get from a large retailer.
The Birdie is available on 0% finance via PayPal Pay In 3 for orders above £500.
