The G6 Sonic FSX1 is Ginger6’s entry-tier flight simulation PC, built around the Intel Core Ultra 5 245KF (14 cores, 5.2 GHz boost) and the NVIDIA RTX 5060 Ti 8GB. It is engineered for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, X-Plane 12, DCS World, and Prepar3D at 1080p and 1440p, which is where most pilots fly. Hand-built in Wolverhampton and 24-hour stress-tested before it ships.

The RTX 5060 Ti 8GB with DLSS 4 delivers a smooth 60 fps and beyond in MSFS 2024 at 1080p Ultra and 1440p High, the most popular monitor resolutions for sim entrants. DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation makes demanding scenery practical.
Ultra 5 245KF for Sim Single-Thread
The 245KF’s 5.2 GHz Performance cores are well suited to the single-threaded bursts MSFS 2024, X-Plane 12, and Prepar3D all rely on for scenery streaming and weather updates. Efficiency cores keep background apps off the sim’s critical path.

What Will It Run, and How Well?
The G6 Sonic FSX1 is configured to deliver smooth performance across every major flight simulator at 1080p and 1440p.
MSFS 2024 at 1080p Ultra runs comfortably on the FSX1, with DLSS 4 keeping frame rates smooth in dense scenery. At 1440p, High settings with DLSS 4 Quality delivers a clean flying experience even with mid-tier payware airports and AI traffic. For 4K Ultra or VR, the RTX 5060 Ti 8GB will reach its limits; consider the FSX2 (16GB) or FSX3 (RTX 5070) for that workload.
X-Plane 12’s Vulkan renderer scales well with the RTX 5060 Ti at 1080p / 1440p, including with smaller ortho scenery packages. The dual NVMe configuration handles ortho file streaming without I/O stuttering.
DCS World runs well on the FSX1 at 1080p / 1440p in single-player and small multiplayer missions. For large multiplayer or VR, the 8GB VRAM and single-thread headroom limit how far you can push graphics settings. Step up to the FSX2 or FSX3 if you fly mostly DCS in VR.
Prepar3D and FSX are single-threaded legacy simulators that benefit from the Ultra 5 245KF’s 5.2 GHz boost. These simulators run noticeably better on the 245KF than on older multi-core CPUs with lower individual core speeds.

Quality Price Value Customer Service I needed to update my system in order to fully use a flight sim programme which my current PC would not run satisfactorily.
