Built Specifically for Flight Simulation
Flight simulation is one of the most hardware-intensive PC workloads available. These are the specific reasons this configuration was put together for sim pilots, not general gaming.
The 9800X3D’s extra cache layer dramatically reduces stuttering when the sim loads new terrain tiles, photogrammetry, and AI traffic. This is the most impactful upgrade you can make for MSFS 2024 performance.
Add-on airports, ortho scenery, and high-resolution aircraft liveries consume significant VRAM. 12GB provides comfortable headroom for complex scenery without texture pop-in or performance degradation.

What Will It Run, and How Well?
The G6 Sonic FSX3 is configured for serious performance across all major flight simulators.
MSFS 2024 is the most demanding simulator available and the primary target for this build. The 9800X3D’s V-Cache handles scenery tile streaming, the RTX 5070 pushes Ultra settings at 1440p or high settings at 4K, and 32GB of DDR5 prevents memory bottlenecks when running complex aircraft systems, AI traffic, and real-time weather simultaneously. DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation significantly boosts frame rates in demanding areas such as photogrammetry cities and complex approach procedures.
X-Plane 12’s Vulkan renderer is highly GPU-dependent. The RTX 5070 delivers strong performance with orthophoto scenery packages, and the dual NVMe configuration handles the large file sizes of ortho tiles without I/O stuttering.
DCS World places heavy demands on both CPU and GPU, particularly in multiplayer missions and VR. The 9800X3D’s single-thread performance and the RTX 5070’s VRAM headroom keep frame rates consistent through complex combat scenarios and high-density maps.
Prepar3D and FSX are single-threaded legacy simulators that benefit enormously from the 9800X3D’s high single-core boost clock. These simulators run better on this hardware than on newer multi-core CPUs with lower individual core speeds.

Quality Price Value Customer Service Very fast delivery at the best price as usual (I have been customer for over 12 years because of this). Unusually, I had an issue with the a PC and referred back to Ginger 6. Turned out it was a Microsoft issue after the machine had registered and done over 200 MS updates (no surprise there) but Ginger 6 found the solution and emailed me with the fix within a couple of hours.
