Intel Core i5 13600K CPU Specifications
What is the Intel Core i5 13600K CPU?
The Intel Core i5 13600K 13th Generation Raptor Lake CPU
Intel is launching its 13th Generation Raptor Lake CPUs. These processors are an evolution of Intel's Alder Lake architecture, with more efficiency cores, higher clocks and other minor upgrades.
The Intel Core i5-13600K will be Intels first i5 desktop processor with 14 cores, it is expected to launch October 2022. It is part of the Core i5 lineup, using the Raptor Lake architecture with Socket 1700. Thanks to Intel Hyper-Threading the thread-count has increased to 20 threads.
The CPU has 24MB L3 cache and 20mb L2 Cache and operates at 3.5 GHz by default on all P-core counts but can boost up to 5.1 GHz for editing or rendering purposes. The CPU also has an unlocked multiplier so users can easily dial in any overclocking frequency under user control without complex tuning software like multi utility programs usually require making overclocking easier than ever before!
The Core i5 13600K with a TDP of up to 181W, consumes a lot of power, so it needs extremely good cooling. It supports DDR4 and DDR5 memory with a dual-channel interface. The Core i5-13600K also uses a PCI Express Gen 5 connection.
